This review is by Noah, 5 years old. This space police set is very cool. The dog has a missile on its back. The visor on the person's head can go down and up and the helmet is very cool. He also has a jet pack on his back. There is a little grabber on the top of the dog's head so you can put stuff on it.
Awesome toy

My 6 year old ordered this with gift money from his birthday. He loves, loves, loves this "awesome" gift. He makes all different things with the Lego pieces, rather than just the items on the directions. He loves creating new things, letting his imagination go wild. I love watching him play and create.
Great mini-set.

Great little Lego Space Police mini-set. Simple, easy build.

PRO's-Space Policman mini-figure with blaster, jet-pack(or oxygen tanks?) on back and helmet with movable visor. K9-Bot has flick fire missile on back.

CON's-None really for such a small, little starter set.
can you say over-priced?

My son wanted this Lego for Christmas and not knowing anything about the toy, I purchased it here. I thought that $13.95 was kind of high, but I did not realize just how small the toy was. When my son found out how much I paid, he was aghast and told me that on Legos website it is only about $3. Now I see that the price has come down some, but there is no longer Super Saver free shipping on it. Please save your money and purchase this elsewhere at a more reasonable price. It is tiny, and not worth the high price!
Great for an addition to any Space Police set

My boys love Legos. Ok, maybe there dad likes them just as much! Legos have come along way in the last 30 years. They are much more intricate. The new space Police Sets are loads of fun, especially if you like to build space ships and have lego adventures. This set is not much on its own but a must have for a serious collector. The robot dog is a little fragile, but the set is really fun and easy to build. Legos are a great self esteem builder for my 5 year olds.

Legos are timeless...I had the complete set of 'Space Series' when I was a kid in the late '70s...Now my 5 year old adores legos and our time together playing with them.
This particular model caught his eye as a innocent addition to his growing collection, so I thought I'd add it to my order of larger, and what I thought was 'higher priced' sets, most of which I obtained at "less than store prices".
Turns out, this little set that sold in stores for $[...] costs a freakin' fortune online. Between shipping and the ridiculously inflated prices I saw for this item, I paid nearly $13 for it. SAD. I added up the price of the individual pieces that it's made of on the Lego website---added up to less than $4. And I took it the Post Office to assess its shipping cost...yeah, $1.05. Someone needs to stop gouging on small items like this.
Also turns out it's not as RARE as one might think.

Space Cop and Robo-Dog!

My son isn't nearly as interested in the Lego Space Police line as he is the City collection, but we ran across the K9-Bot set on clearance so we decided to give it a try. It's essentially a Space Policeman minifigure with a robot dog. Sort of like the futuristic counterpart to the Lego City Set #5612 Exclusive Mini Figure Police Officer.

Complexity: My son is only 4, so he assembled the minifigure while I put together the dog. There really wasn't much to it, and it only took a minute. I think there are all of 22 pieces in the set.

Playability: My son was more impressed with the policeman minifigure (who comes with a backpack, helmet with visor, and gun) than the dog. The dog is poseable though, and the rocket on its back is a neat touch.

As Lego sets go, this isn't anything special. For the price though, it was worthwhile just to add another minifigure to the collection.
