We bought this toy for our 6 month old son after he got to play with one at his cousin's house. He loves it! And, he's now 9 months and still likes playing with it.
It plays songs, giggles and spins. The only thing is that if the baby is holding on too tight, the songs slow down. |
Great toy!

Each ring has fabric making it easy for little fingers to grab onto. The base has music and giggle sounds when it it wobbled. My daughter loved this toy. It's bright colored, simple, easy to clean and smart. It's the first stacker toy that maintained her interest enough to actually stack as opposed to take down the rings. Thanks, Grandpa for this one!

I bought this for my son's first christmas when he was 7 months old. It is a fantastic toy! He played with it everyday in a multitude of ways for a very long time. Definately worth the money. The center part does come off easily, but I think that is a safety feature incase the child falls onto it. Either way, he even loved to put other toys on the rotating disk and make them spin. Overall, a great toy!
nice variation to the original

This is a great toy for young toddlers, lot's of fun, and very stimulating. A little over priced, but still worth it.

My 5 month old loves this toy, it is easy for her to grab the rings with their ribbon tabs and she loves the music and motion when it spins. Highly recommend!! Will be giving as gifts for friends soon...
Not what I expected

This wasn't what I expected. When my son grabs on to the stacking pole the music starts to make a grinding noise, which is not so enjoyable. The rings are way too bulky and the they are a hard hollow plastic. I'm sure it's a fine toy for some kids, but my son enjoys the $4.00 Infantino stacking rings much more.
Not as great as I thought

I was disapointed by the annoying motor noise this toy makes when my 10 month old holds onto the center and rings while spinning. The music and spinning cycle are not very long and not quite as fun as I thought it would be based on the other reviews.
poor design

I normally love Lamaze toys. They are always super colorful. This one, however, is not good. The bottom is round so when it spins it wobbles and tips, particularly on carpet. If the baby grabs it while it's spinning, it interfers with the motor and makes a loud clacking noise. The rings are large and bulky. My daughter does like the fabric and ribbon decorations.

Maybe I got a defective one, but it is very difficult to get this toy to play music/sound. I have tried tilting it, pushing down on the top, tapping it, and short of throwing it against the wall, I rarely get it to respond. I have changed the batteries, and tried everything I can think of. My little girl gets excited when I can finally get it to play a short little song, but then cries because it won't do it again.
