Barbie Beach Party Doll And Bicycle
My daughter received this doll for Christmas. Barbie’s feet don’t stay on the pedals. The bike is flimsy and not strong enough or sturdy enough to support the doll. I don’t know if the puppy “bounces in the basket when Barbie rides” as advertised, because the toy doesn’t actually work well enough for Barbie to ride it. A total disappointment for my daughter. Because of the construction of the legs for riding the bicycle, the doll doesn’t sit or stand properly. So, you can’t get it to ride the bike, but you can’t make it stand or sit, either. Great. What use is it?

Our little one got this for Christmas. She enjoys it along with the plethora of Barbies she already had, but nonetheless, awesome gift. My complaint is that barbie’s legs are so wobbly (due to the ability to ride the bicycle) that she is not fit to do much else. The bicycle is fairly made. I think it will withstand the test of time. I wish that Mattel would get a hint that we really don’t need a doll packaged with every accessory.

My daughter used her birthday money and it was complete junk from the moment it came out of the box. The harness was so tight that she could not get the doll into without adult assistance. The bike would not support the weight of the doll and the front wheel kept falling off. This is definitely not worth the money and was heartbreaking for my daughter.

There is absolutely no way that you can get the Barbie to stay on the bike for any length of time. The pedals fall of, Barbie falls off, her hands won’t stay on the handlebars. All it did was frustrate my daughter. At least some of the other Barbie sets come with a normal Barbie doll that you can play with if the accessories don’t work out. Not this one. The legs are made to be super floppy and flexible for riding the bike. She can’t even sit right. No fun… no fun at all.
